COMING BY CAR: From the south of Scotland on the M90, follow the signs for the city of Dundee. However, long before Dundee, and passing over a bridge crossing the river Tay at Perth and at junction 11, come off the motorway at the end of this bridge and follow signs to Coupar Angus on the A.94. This route will pass through the suburbs to the north side of Perth.

COMING BY CAR: From the west and from England. Proceed north via the M6 and M74 towards Glasgow. Loop round the south of Glasgow via the M73 and take the fast road signed Stirling and Perth. On arrival at the big roundabout at Perth, ignore all signs. Go into the city and proceed straight through crossing over many traffic lights until you cross a bridge over the river and then you have to either turn left or right. Turn left signed A.94 and Coupar Angus. From Glasgow to Cardean Mill is about a two hour journey.

COMING BY CAR: From the north. Use a map and travel to either Blairgowrie, Forfar, or Perth...then it is easy.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN, COACH OR AIRCRAFT: I will meet you wherever. You will need to hire a car when you are here to get about. I will arrange a low cost hire for you to include all insurance, etc, from a contact in Perth. I will take you to collect the car. You will need your International Driving License and your credit card to collect the vehicle. If you are unhappy driving "on the wrong side of the road", I will stay with you until you have confidence. I promise you that it is not difficult.

I will in any case send you detailed directions before you arrive. If all else fails, ask anyone in the village of Meigle. Cardean Water Mill is three quarters of a mile from the village.
